RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. - Arkansas Tech senior golfer Ellen Spigner has been named as the Great American Conference Women's Golfer of the Week. The announcement was made by the league office on Wednesday.
 
It is the fourth GAC weekly award this season and the sixth career for Spigner.
 
Spigner earned this week's GAC Women's Golfer of the Week as she won her third tournament of the year with a five-over (215) performance at the Hardscrabble Invitational. Spigner would clear the field by five strokes.
 
She is now tied for second in Tech history for the most tournament victories in a year and is tied for third all-time for tournament wins with four.
