About Student Athlete Success

The Department of Student Athlete Success is organized to help Arkansas Tech University student-athletes develop and enhance the skills necessary for academic, athletic and personal growth. The office provides services for academic, athletic and career concerns or challenges. The staff will help student-athletes learn the appropriate procedures to effectively utilize the services of numerous departments throughout the ATU community. Similarly, when it is appropriate, student-athletes may be referred for individual tutoring, academic coaching, weekly meetings and/or workshops. The Department of Student Athlete Success works collaboratively with relevant constituent groups and individuals, including academic advisors, career services, academic student success, faculty, disability support services and coaches to enhance the academic success of student-athletes.
