RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The defending Great American Conference champion Arkansas Tech men's golf team is set to begin their 2026-27 season with The Dewsweeper, hosted by the St. Mary's University of Texas at TPC San Antonio in San Antonio, Texas.
 
Set to return for the Wonder Boys this year are 2026 All-GAC honorees Jacob Peetoom and Cameron Twynholm. Peetoom was a first-team selection last year while Twynholm was an honorable mention selection. Along with that duo, the Wonder Boys also return CJ Guthrie, Luke Hanson, JP McCarron and Nicholas Norris.
 
In addition to the returners, third-year head coach Lowell Stephens has bolstered the team with the additions of Ben Braswell, Jasper Brown, Sebastien De Vooght, Alex Miller and Nicholas Weathers.
 
The Wonder Boys' initial lineup of the year will feature De Vooght, Peetoom, Miller, Twynholm and Hanson.
 
The 54-hole event is scheduled to have a shotgun start of 8:30 a.m. on Monday and the Wonder Boys will be grouped with host, Dallas Baptist, Oklahoma Christian and Southern Arkansas. Monday is set to feature 36 holes of play with the second round occurring shortly after the completion of the opening round,
 
Tuesday's tee times will be determined after Monday's results.
