AUSTIN, Texas – On Wednesday, in a release by the College Sports Communicators (CSC), Arkansas Tech junior golfer
Jacob Peetoom was named Third Team Academic All-America®.

A native of Rogers, Ark., Peetoom becomes the third Wonder Boy baseball player to earn the prestigious academic honor and is the first since Francois Jacobs earned the acclaim in 2022.
This past season, Peetoom was unanimously selected as a First Team All-GAC golfer and helped lead the Wonder Boys to their fourth GAC Championship overall and second-straight regional tournament appearance. The conference title was the first since 2021. At that conference championship, Peetoom finished in a tie for fourth to earn All-Tournament Team honors.
In his junior season, Peetoom played 35 rounds and had an adjusted scoring average of 72.3. He would end the year as the No. 14-ranked golfer in the Central Region and the No. 124
th-ranked golfer in all of DII.
In the classroom, Peetoom has reached senior status, is majoring in Finance and currently holds a 3.93 GPA.
