BROKEN ARROW, Okla. – After a great opening round on Sunday, the Arkansas Tech men's golf team maintained their lead at the 2026 Great American Conference Tournament through the end of the second round and will carry an 11-stroke lead into the final round on Tuesday.

The Wonder Boys were one of three teams to shoot four-over as a team as Southwestern Oklahoma and Southern Arkansas did the same thing, elevating both up a spot on the team leaderboard. Those three will play alongside one another for Tuesday's final round.
Tee times for that final group will begin at 8:45 a.m. from hole No. 1.
The highlight of Monday for the Wonder Boys was a one-under performance from senior and reining GAC Tournament medalist,
Landon Lawson. After an opening round 4-over (76), Lawson came back on Monday soared up 15 spots on the individual leaderboard and sits in a tie for sixth.
Starting on No. 1, Lawson was 2-over for his round through seven holes and then he birdied the par-4 No. 8. Making the turn at 1-over, Lawson wasted no time in getting in the red as he made eagle on the par-4 No. 10. He followed that with a birdie on No. 11 to move to 2-under.
He was back to even with consecutive bogeys, but settled things down and made par on four of the final five holes. The hole he did not, Lawson made birdie, doing so on the par-4 No. 17.
One shot back of Lawson in the second round was
Cameron Twynholm as he shot even-par (72). On Sunday, Twynholm and teammate
Jacob Peetoom set the tone with matching rounds of 4-under (68). Through 36 holes, Twynholm is atop the individual leaderboard at 4-under (140).
Peetoom fell a bit off of Twynholm's pace as he shot 3-over (75) on Monday. After being four-over over the front-nine, Peetoom made birdie on No. 18 to close his round on a high note and get him to 3-over.
