RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – On the heels of their first Great American Conference Championship since 2021, the Arkansas Tech men's golf team now has their sights set on the 2026 NCAA Division II Men's Golf Central/Midwest Region Tournament. The three-day event will be played at the par-72, 6,967-yard Katke Golf Club in Big Rapids, Michigan.
The Wonder Boys are one of 20 teams in the field and one of four teams from the GAC competing. In the lineup for the Wonder Boys will be
Jacob Peetoom,
Cameron Twynholm,
Landon Lawson,
Luke Hanson and
Roby Cooper. CJ Guthrie will serve as the team's alternate substitute.
The Wonder Boys will begin the 54-hole event with tee times starting at 6:30 a.m. CT on Thursday. Cooper will be the first to tee off with Hanson going at 6:42 a.m. CT, Lawson at 6:54 a.m. CT, Twynholm at 7:06 a.m. CT and Peetoom at 7:18 a.m. CT.
The Wonder Boys will be grouped with Davenport University and Tiffin University.
Thursday is set to feature 18 holes of play with the second round taking place on Friday and the final round on Saturday.
