RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – A week after opening their season with a runner-up finish at the Bob Gravett Invitational, the Arkansas Tech women's cross country team is back at it this weekend as they will take part in The Southern Showcase, hosted by Jacksonville State, on Friday, September 12 starting at 8:30 a.m.
 
At The Southern Showcase, the Golden Suns will be taking part in the collegiate 5K alongside 54 other teams. In a field made up of a majority of Division I programs, Tech is one of 21 non-DI programs.
 
Set to compete in The Southern Showcase are Ellie Akins, Libby Booth, Emily Caldwell, Peyton Carson, Mackenzie Epperson, Sophia Goerlich, Amaya Grant, Alyson Greathouse, Audrey Hill, Kate Holbrook, Miley Holt, Reagan Jones, Addison Leffke, Julia Minton, Annsley Rawlins, Avery Stanley, Kate Weber, and Carole Werner.
