NORMAN, Okla. – On Tuesday, the Arkansas Tech men's golf team was announced as one of a record-setting 292 programs from across all levels of collegiate golf to be honored with the 2024-25 PLATFORM Golf Team Academic Award with the added distinction of Presidents Special Recognition. The announcement was made by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA).
To receive the PLATFORM Golf Team Academic Award, a team must have a collective GPA of 3.0 or better. In order to receive the Presidents Special Recognition, a team must have a collective GPA of 3.5 or better.
The Wonder Boys were one of 52 teams from NCAA Division II to earn the PLATFORM Team Academic Award and were one of just 19 from the division to receive the Presidents Special Recognition.
