ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – The Arkansas Tech men's golf team remains in a tie for third-place through two rounds of play at the 2025 NCAA Division II Central/Midwest Region Tournament after they matched their team score from Thursday's first round and shot an eight-over (292) on Friday.

OFFICIAL RESULTS

Tech is tied with Findlay for third and both are just one stroke back of being in a tie for second with Saginaw Valley State, who shot up eight spots on the team leaderboard on Friday with two-over (286).

Just one stroke back of Tech and Findley are four teams that are tied for fifth; setting up an exciting final round as the top-four teams at the conclusion of the round will advance to the National Championship Tournament.

Pacing the Wonder Boys in the second round was Landon Lawson as he shot a three-under (68). Starting on hole one, Lawson was two-under through the front-nine as he birdied holes five and eight. He would get to three-under quickly after making the turn with a birdie on No. 10. His lone blemish came two holes later where he bogeyed 12.

Lawson would par the next five holes before ending his round with a birdie on 18. Lawson is currently tied for second at two-under for the tournament.

Behind Lawson on Friday was Tobey Kim. The freshman would shoot one-over in his second round. He would overcome a pair of par-three double bogeys and a pair of par-four bogeys with a team-high five birdies in the round. At four-over for the tournament, Kim is currently tied for 20th.
