RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Great American Conference announced its annual all-conference honors and superlative awards for men's golf on Sunday evening after the completion of the opening round of the championship tournament.

In that unveiling,
Jacob Peetoom was a unanimous First Team All-GAC selection. He was joined with all-conference acclaim by
Roby Cooper and
Cameron Twynholm as both received honorable mention plaudits.
Ranked No. 114 in Division II men's golf this year and No. 13 in the region, Peetoom has been a consistent leader for the Wonder Boys on the course. The junior opened the year with consecutive tournaments under par and has racked up seven top-20 individual finishes. He is currently sporting a 72.2 stroke average entering the GAC Championship.
In addition to his achievements on the course, Peetoom also earned academic acclaim as he was named a GAC Elite Scholar Athlete with his unblemished 4.0 GPA.
Landon Lawson also received academic recognition as he was named to the GAC Academic Honor Roll.
Cooper and Twynholm are both ranked within the top-45 in the region.
Cooper has secured a pair of top-five finishes this year with both having him finish in the red with his best being a 9-under at the NSU Men's Classic back in mid-September. Over his 10 tournaments played heading into the GAC Championship, Cooper has a 74.0 stroke average.
Joining the program at semester, Twynholm immediately inserted himself into the lineup, competing in all five spring tournaments leading to the GAC Championship. Over his five tournaments, Twynholm has a 73.8 stroke average.
