NORMAN, Okla. – Arkansas Tech freshman golfer
Tobey Kim added another accolade to his young resume on Wednesday as he was named to the NCAA Division II PING® All-Central Region Team. The announcement was made by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA).

A native of Zapopan, Jalisco, Mexico, Kim is the first Wonder Boy golfer to be named to an all-region team since 2022. Earlier this season, Kim was lauded as the Great American Conference Freshman of the Year.
Playing in all 11 tournaments this season including the Central/Midwest Region Tournament, Kim finished in the top-five individually five times and won a pair of tournaments; the Battle for the Belt and the Oldfield Classic.
Currently ranked as the No. 74 golfer nationally, Kim finished his freshman season with a 71.7 scoring average.
