Scheduled to play 36 holes on Monday and 18 on Tuesday, rain washed out the second round on Monday, shaving the tournament down to 36 holes overall. On Monday, the Wonder Boys shot an even par (288) in round one. They followed on Tuesday with a three-over (291) in the final round, which had them finish one stroke behind first place, Arkansas-Fort Smith.

Two of the Wonder Boys would crack the top-10 with Oscar Darlington finishing second and Mack Moore finishing tied for 10th. All four scoring golfers for the Wonder Boys would shoot four-over or better for the tournament.

In his impressive round, Darlington carded four birdies on the front-nine and added an eagle on hole 16. He would place second individually and was two strokes behind first.
