MUSKOGEE, Okla. – The Arkansas Tech men's golf team wrapped up their first tournament of the 2024-2025 season with a 14th place finish out of 17 teams at the NSU Men's Golf Classic.
OFFICIAL RESULTS
Landon Lawson led the team overall with a total score of two-over (215), which cracked the top 20 for Lawson on the individual golfer leaderboard. Round two was Lawson's best as he shot three-under on the front nine and ended the round one-under (70). On Tuesday, Lawson shot even-par to end his tournament with a stroke total of 215.
The other scoring golfers were
Tobey Kim who shot eight-over (221), followed by
Luke Hanson at nine-over (222), and
Mack Moore at 10-over (223).
Hole 15 saw the best out of
Luke Hanson who would eagle it in rounds one & two.
The next tournament for the Wonder Boys is Sept. 23rd - 24th at the MSSU Fall Invitational hosted by Missouri Southern at the Shangri-La Country Club in Monkey Island, Okla.
