EDMOND, Okla. – Arkansas Tech's
Jackson Cole concluded his collegiate golf career on Saturday with the final round of the 2024 NCAA Division II Men's Golf Central/Midwest Region Tournament out at the KickingBird Golf Course in in Edmond, Oklahoma.
FINAL ROUND RESULTS
Cole would shoot a three-over (73) in his final round on Saturday. The Fayetteville native would shoot one-over (211) overall for the tournament to finish in a tie for 34
th.
Earlier this season, Cole was named as a First Team All-GAC golfer as he was the Wonder Boys' top golfer throughout. Prior to qualifying for the regional tournament as an individual, Cole native was the No. 11-ranked golfer in the region and ranked No. 78 in all of DII.
He had played in all 10 tournaments this year for the Wonder Boys, and put together a 71.4 scoring average, which is nearly five strokes better than his 76.04 average a year ago.
Cole had also not finished any lower than 22nd in a tournament and had five top-10 finishes, a pair of top-three finishes and an individual medalist at the Hillcat Classic back in mid-March.
