BROKEN ARROW, Okla. – The Arkansas Tech men's golf team concluded the 2024 Great American Conference Men's Golf Championship Tournament on Tuesday and finished the event in fifth place as a team.
OFFICIAL FINAL RESULTS
In their final round on Tuesday, the Wonder Boys dropped five strokes from their second round and shot a 309 (+21).
Roby Cooper and
Jacob Peetoom paced the team in the final round with a four-over (76). Cooper would finish the tournament second on the team and in a tie for 19
th overall, while Peetoom was new to the lineup for the Wonder Boys on Tuesday as a substitute.
Jackson Cole was one shot back of Cooper and Peetoom on Tuesday and finished tied for 11
th overall as he put together a 54-hole score of 225.
Landon Lawson rounded out scoring for the Wonder Boys on Tuesday and shot an eight-over (80). He would finish tied for 26
th.
The Wonder Boys will now await the NCAA Division II Selection Show on Friday, April 26 to see if they have earned an at-larger berth to the Central Region Tournament.
