The meet for this weekend in Oklahoma will be a 6K race and Tech will compete against 20 other cross country programs. Once again the Golden Suns will face some major Division I programs such as Texas, Oklahoma State, Texas Tech and Oklahoma.
Head Cross Country/ Track and Field Coach Brock Hime is happy to see constant improvement and is eager for the team to compete in the spotlight this weekend
"This weekend we are focusing on running our own race. We have a great opportunity to race in a big energy environment on a phenomenal course with a lot of history behind it. We ran really well at Memphis and workouts are continuing to show progression, so Saturday should be a lot of fun for everyone. There is nothing more fun than competing on a big stage, full-throttle. Fight On!"
The race is set to begin at 9:15 a.m. Saturday morning.
