Francois Jacobs brought in the first tie of the Wonder Boys' match-play, in a tight contest against Felipe Garces Garzon.

The Wonder Boys are attempting to win their first national title in golf and just the third national championship in school history. The ATU women's basketball team won back-to-back NAIA national titles in 1992 and 1993.
Additionally, the Wonder Boys are just the second Great American Conference program to make an NCAA title game in the league's history, and the first men's golf team.
*This is a "Medal Match" event. Each match is scored by the cumulative number of strokes won by rather than the number of holes won. Up 3 means that the player is up by 3 strokes, not 3 holes. The player up by the most strokes after 18 holes wins the match.
