INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The latest NCAA Division II Men's Golf Regional Rankings were released by the national office on Thursday and the Arkansas Tech Wonder Boys are ranked No. 2 in the Central Region.
The top team in the rankings from the Great American Conference, the Wonder Boys trail only Central Missouri out of the MIAA.
Ranked No. 4 nationally by Golfstat, the Wonder Boys last competed in the highly-competitive Argonaut Invitational where they finished in a tie for third, trailing only then top-ranked West Florida and then-ranked No. 4 Lincoln Memorial. In their finish, the Wonder Boys beat nine nationally-ranked teams.
Not playing in a tournament this week, the Wonder Boys figure to be well-rested and geared up for the upcoming GAC Championship, which is slated to begin on Monday, April 19 at the Hot Springs Country Club.
