RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Arkansas Tech men's golf team is back in action and will participate in the Firekeeper Open, hosted by Washburn University. The two-day event will be played at the par-72, 7,125-yard Firekeeper Golf Course in Mayetta, Kansas.
The Wonder Boys will be one of 17 teams competing in the event with host Washburn fielding a "B" team also in the field. In the lineup for the Wonder Boys will be
Jacob Peetoom,
Cameron Twynholm,
Roby Cooper, CJ Guthrie and
Landon Lawson.
Luke Hanson will also be competing and will do so as an individual.
The 54-hole event is scheduled to have a shotgun start of 9 a.m. on Monday. The Wonder Boys will be grouped with No. 47-ranked Washburn, No. 15-ranked West Texas A&M and Missouri Western.
Monday is set to feature 36 holes of play with the second round occurring shortly after the completion of the opening round,
Tuesday's tee times will be determined after Monday's results.
