MAYETTA, Kan. – The Arkansas Tech men's golf team ended the regular season portion of their schedule at the Firekeeper Open, hosted by Washburn University. The Wonder Boys would finish 11
th among the 17-team field.

As a team, the Wonder Boys shot 32-over (896) across the three rounds.
Jacob Peetoom led the team as he finished tied for 10
th with a 54-hole score of 218 (+2). Peetoom would shoot two-over on Monday as he carded consecutive rounds of 73 (+1). On Tuesday, Peetoom dropped a stoke and shot even par (72). For the tournament, Peetoom would have seven birdies and one eagle (hole four, round two – par 5).
Roby Cooper was the second scorer for the Wonder Boys. After Monday's 36 holes, Cooper was at even par as he shot one-under in round one and one-over in round two. On Tuesday, Cooper carded a 79 (+7) and ended tied for 32
nd.
The Wonder Boys will now prepare for the 2026 Great American Conference Championship Tournament in two weeks. This year's championship will take place at the Club at Forest Ridge in Broken Arrow, Okla. The three-day event is scheduled to start on Saturday, April 18 and run through Monday, April 20.
