OLATHE, Kan. - Peerada Piddon carded an opening-round, one under-par 71 to sit in first place as the Arkansas Tech Golden Suns golf team shot an opening-round 303 to sit in tie for second place after day one of the Central Region Fall Preview hosted by Southwestern Oklahoma State University. 

Golden Sun newcomer Bhenyapa Buranasiri followed right Piddon as she carded a 73 (+1) to sit in a tie for second in the opening round. Sydney Staton also put together a solid opening round, shooting a 77 (+5) to put her in a tie for 20^th.

The final round at the Central Region Golf Classic will be played Wednesday.
