CARMEL, Ind. – Arkansas Tech women's golf finished tied for third at the UIndy Invitational on Tuesday, completing a three-round tournament in which Tech's Jacqueline Klemm tied for fifth with a score of 218 (+2).
 
Tech finished the UIndy Invitational with a final round score of 298, giving them a tournament score of 894, which is the lowest 54-hole team score in school history.
 
Klemm earned her first top-ten finish as a Golden Sun as she tied for fifth after shooting a 78 (+6) in the final round of the UIndy Invitational. Klemm's tournament score of 218 is the tied for the fourth-lowest 54-hole score in school history.
 
Peerada Piddon carded a 74 (+2) in her final round, giving her an 11^th place finish. Piddon's three round score of 220 is tied for the sixth lowest 54-hole score in program history. Pia Nunbhakdi carded the lowest round of the day for Tech as she finished her third round at 71 (-1), allowing her to move up 20 spots to tie for 30^th. Sydney Staton tied for 34^th in the tournament after a 75 (+3) in round three, and Bhenyapa Buranasiri moved up five spots from day one to day two to tie for 68^th with a 78 (+6) on Tuesday.
 
Allie Weiner competed as an individual and closed out the tournament with an 84 (+12), giving her a 72^nd place finish.
 
The Golden Suns will travel to Goodyear, Ariz. for their next round, as Tech participates in the Western New Mexico Fall Intercollegiate Tournament on Monday, Sept. 24, through Tuesday, Sept. 25.
