RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – Arkansas Tech baseball looks for its third consecutive conference sweep this weekend, as the Wonder Boys take on Ouachita in a three-game series in Arkadelphia, Ark. Play begins on Friday at 2 p.m., followed by a doubleheader on Saturday at noon.

ALL-TIME SERIES
Arkansas Tech leads the all-times series against Ouachita, 81-63-1. The Wonder Boy took three of four games last season, snapping a six-game losing streak to the Tigers.
SCOUTING THE WONDER BOYS
Arkansas Tech (9-6, 6-0 GAC) has won its first six GAC games for the first time since 2013. The Wonder Boys earned three-game sweeps over last year's regular-season conference champion Southwestern Oklahoma State and Northwestern Oklahoma.
The Wonder Boys are hitting .270 as a team this season, while opponents have been held to a .244 batting average.
Zach Klockowski has started all fifteen games for Tech, batting a team-high .385. Klockowski also leads the Wonder Boys with six home runs, 43 runs batted in and a .827 slugging percentage.
Dylan McDearmon is hitting .377 this season and has reached base in the past 14 games.

Kyle Wilson and
Geoffrey Birkemeier lead the Wonder Boys on the mound. Armstrong has pitched a team-high 23.0 innings this season and has posted a 3.13 earned-run average. Wilson, who has been named GAC Pitcher of the Week in consecutive weeks, has pitched back-to-back complete game shutouts. Wilson has struck out 25 batters this season, and Birkemeier leads Tech's starters with a 1.65 earned-run average.
SCOUTING THE TIGERS
Ouachita (5-10, 3-3 GAC) opened GAC play this season with three losses to preseason favorite Oklahoma Baptist. The Tigers responded, however, with a three-game sweep of Southern Nazarene. Ouachita is batting .259 as a team this season while opponents are hitting .273.
Kyle Alexander has posted a team-high .417 batting average this season, while Preston Speers leads the Tigers with two home runs and 11 runs batted in. Abe Young and Adam Bahloul have both pitched at least 26 innings this season, while Young has recorded a team-low 3.12 earned-run average.
