LEADING OFF
The Arkansas Tech baseball team will take to the road this weekend for their final weekend series of the year and will be at Harding.

Due to forecasted inclement weather on Friday, the series is scheduled to played on Thursday and Saturday. Thursday will feature a single game starting at 5 p.m. while Saturday's doubleheader is tentatively slated to start at 1 p.m.

Historically, the Wonder Boys and Bison have met 169 times before their clash this weekend. The two have already played a non-conference midweek game that Tech won 13-8 in Russellville back on February 24. Tech currently leads the series 100-69.

TECH(NICALLY) SPEAKING
The Wonder Boys enters the series at Harding at 28-19 overall and 21-9 in the GAC. They are coming off a series win on the road at Oklahoma Baptist this past weekend and most-recently a 19-5 win in a midweek game at home against Union this past Tuesday.

Statistically, the Wonder Boys are hitting .286 as a team (420-for-1,466) with 322 runs scored, 89 doubles, eight triples and 27 home runs.
Kirby Jenkins currently leads the team in batting average at .352 (57-for-162).
Jenkins has also been the biggest power threat for the Wonder Boys as he leads the team with a .648 slugging percentage thanks to 15 doubles, three triples and nine home runs.
Jenkins also leads the team in RBIs with 52 and runs scored with 46.

On the mound, the Wonder Boys have a team ERA of 5.02 and have struck out 317 batters in 376.1 innings of work.

Cole Dickson,
Creighton Jacobitz and
Daniel Hutchison all made starts over Tech's most-recent weekend at Oklahoma Baptist and figure to be among the rotation this weekend against Harding.

Jacobitz is 7-4 with a 3.38 ERA and has 61 strikeouts in 69.1 innings.
Hutchison is 7-5 with a 5.05 ERA and has 48 strikeouts in 57.0 innings.
Dickson is 4-3 with a 5.27 ERA and has 57 strikeouts in 56.1 innings.

Leading the Wonder Boys once more is
Dave Dawson. The all-time winningest coach in Tech Baseball history,
Dawson enters his 17th year in the dugout for the Wonder Boys. In his previous 16 seasons,
Dawson has guided amassed a 482-334 record. He has also had nine seasons with 30 or more wins which includes the 2014 season in which he led the team a program-record 44 wins and hosting rights for that year's Central Region Tournament.

Overall,
Dawson is in his 21st year as a head baseball coach at the collegiate level as he spent four years as head coach at Kansas Wesleyan and totaled 118 wins. His combined win total at Tech and Kansas Wesleyan have him with a career record of 628-444.

SCOUTING HARDING
Harding enters the weekend series against Tech at 28-16 overall and are 20-10 in the GAC. They have won nine-straight games and are most-recently coming off an 11-8 win over Delta State at home this past Tuesday.

Offensively, the Bisons are hitting .294 as a team (428-for-1,454) with 335 runs scored, 102 doubles, nine triples and 42 home runs. They are led in hitting by
Easton Jones at .343 (57-for-166).
Collin Helms has been the biggest power threat for the Bisons as he leads the team in slugging percentage at .563 thanks to 13 doubles, two triples and nine home runs.
Cooper Newsom leads the team in RBIs with 63 while Nathan Bowie leads in runs scored with 57.

On the mound, the Bisons have a 6.22 team ERA and have struck out 279 batters in 360.1 innings of work.

The Bisons used a weekend rotation of
Kyle Lane,
Ryan Romolo and
Jay Merritt in their weekend series against Southern Nazarene. Those three figure to be in the mix for the rotation against Tech.

Lane is 7-0 with a 5.27 ERA and has 57 strikeouts in 70.0 innings.
Romolo is 6-2 with a 5.43 ERA and has 47 strikeouts in 53.0 innings.
Merritt is 5-2 with a 4.07 ERA and has 56 strikeouts in 59.2 innings.

Dr. Patrick McGaha, who is in his 21
st season as head coach at his alma mater, Harding and his 25
th overall. In his time at Harding,
McGaha is 611-447 and is 730-543-1 overall.
