CLINTON, Miss. – The Arkansas Tech baseball team took on Mississippi College in a road midweek game on Tuesday afternoon and came away with a 6-1 setback.
Mississippi College would hit four home runs in the game with all four coming through the first five innings of action. Despite the volume of homers hit, three were solo shots, keeping the Wonder Boys in the game.
Tech would not crack the scoreboard until the top of the sixth, however, when
David Ossanna singled home
Luke Caussey, who doubled in the at-bat prior. Ossanna would collect a pair of knocks in the game as he went 2-for-4.
The wonder Boys will now prepare to remain on the road this coming weekend as they will play a series at Henderson State. As of now, the series is scheduled to be played Friday and Saturday this week, but weather forecasts may alter the schedule.
