RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Arkansas Tech men's golf team is set to open the spring portion of its schedule over the next two days as they will participate in the Houston Classic, hosted by Southern Nazarene. The two-day event will be played at the par-72, 7,422-yard Golf Club of Houston in Humble, Texas.
The Wonder Boys will be one of 16 Division II teams competing in the event with the University of Houston (Division I) playing a trio of individuals. In the lineup for the Wonder Boys will be
Jacob Peetoom,
Roby Cooper,
Landon Lawson,
Luke Hanson and
Cameron Twynholm.
The 54-hole event is scheduled to have a shotgun start of 7:30 a.m. on Monday. Peetoom will be group with players from Cameron and Missouri-St. Louis while the rest of the lineup will be grouped with Dallas Baptist and Rogers State.
Monday is set to feature 36 holes of play with the second round occurring shortly after the completion of the opening round,
Tuesday's tee times will be determined after Monday's results.
