RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – Arkansas Tech freshman forward Logan Young has been named as the latest Great American Conference Offensive Player of the Week as it was announced by the league office on Monday.
 
It is the second GAC weekly award in the career of Young and the third for the Golden Suns this season.
 
In earning the conference honor, Young paced the Golden Suns in their 2-0 week. She averaged 23.0 ppg on 66.7% shooting (16-of-24) from the floor. Young was also nearly perfect from the free throw line, going 14-of-15 (.933) for the week.
 
Against East Central, Young scored 24 points on 7-of-11 shooting. She capped off the week with 22 points on 9-of-13 shooting.
