FIRST SERVE
The Arkansas Tech volleyball team is set to play their final game of the regular season on Thursday night and will do so at home against Harding.
 
This will be the second match of the 2025 regular season between Tech and Harding. The initial meeting came back on October 2, and Harding won the match, 3-1.
 
That match is scheduled to start at 6 p.m. and will have live stats and video available with both links being found at: www.ArkansasTechSports.com/coverage.
 
TECH(NICALLY) SPEAKING
The Golden Suns enter the match against Harding 15-10 overall and 11-4 in the GAC. Tech is coming off a 3-0 loss on the road Tuesday at Ouachita Baptist.
 
At 11-4 in the GAC, the Golden Suns have secured a spot in the upcoming GAC Volleyball Tournament. It will be their first appearance in the conference tournament since 2022. Currently, the Golden Suns are tied for third-place with Oklahoma Baptist and Southwestern Oklahoma with one match to go. Tech did win their matches against both Oklahoma Baptist and SWOSU and holds the head-to-head tiebreaker against each.
 
Offensively, the Golden Suns are averaging 13.5 kills/set and have a .216 team attack percentage. They have four players with at least 190 kills and are led by Henley Hooks and her 267 kills. Erika Hernandez has the highest attack percentage on the team among prominent attackers at .381 (213k-454att-40err).
 
The Golden Suns have split time at setter between their three Aspen Jankowski, Emma Kiser and Kenzie Garrett. All three have at least 250 assists with Kiser currently leading the team with 362.
 
Defensively the Golden Suns are averaging 17.4 digs/set and 1.8 blocks per set. Samantha Wojtowicz leads the team in digs with 424. Eight different Golden Suns have registered double-digit blocks thus far with four having at least 30.0. Erika Hernandez currently leading the team with 61.0.
 
The head coach of the Golden Suns is Hannah Wuest. She is in her first year as head coach at Tech and has a 15-10 record.
 
SCOUTING THE OPPONENTS
HARDING
Harding enters the match with Tech 22-4 overall and are 13-2 in GAC play. The Lady Bisons have won six-straight matches. Their most-recent match was a 3-1 win at home against Southern Arkansas this past Tuesday.
 
At 13-2 in the GAC, the Lady Bisons have secured the No. 2-seed in the upcoming GAC Tournament. Harding can claim a share of the conference regular season title with a win and a Ouachita Baptist loss on Thursday night.
                                                                                                                              
Coming into play against Tech, the Lady Bisons are averaging 13.3 kills/set and have a .225 team attack percentage. They have three players with at least 200 kills and are led in kills by Ella Drake with 290. Rauly Eason has the highest attack percentage on the team among prominent attackers at .322 (221k-516att-55err).
 
The Lady Bisons have used a primary setter in Olivia Wiedower. She currently has 964 of the team's 1,230 assists. Wiedower has registered 30 or more assists in a match 21 times this season, 40 our more nine times and 50 or more four times.
 
Defensively the Lady Bisons are averaging 16.4 digs/set and 1.9 blocks per set. Maddie Burrough leads the team in digs with 358. Eight Lady Bisons have registered double-digit blocks thus far with three having at least 50.0. Philomina Klotz leads the way with 85.0 blocks.
