RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Arkansas Tech women's golf team is set to compete in their second tournament in as many weeks this spring as they will participate in the Natural State Classic over the next two days – Monday, February 26 and Tuesday, February 27 – at the Cypress Creek Golf Club in Cabot, Arkansas.
Last week, the Golden Suns played their first tournament of the spring and finished 13
th out of 15 in a strong field at the Southern Invite.
Scheduled to participate for the Golden Suns in their scoring lineup this week is
Ellen Spigner,
Claire Orcutt,
Jaylee Castro,
Averi Mickelson, and
Kylie Rehberger.
Mekky Winyarat is also slated to play in the event and will be among the field participating as an individual.
The tournament is scheduled to have tee times starting at 8:00 a.m. on Monday morning and will feature 18 holes of action that day. On Tuesday, the second and final round will take place at a time to be determined after play on Monday.
The Golden Suns will be grouped with Missouri Southern and Union on Monday. Their tee times are slated to begin at 8:10 a.m. with Rehberger. Mickelson, Castro, Orcutt, Spigner and Winyarat will follow 10 minutes apart.
