RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – Fresh off a team title at the Spring Region Preview last week, the Arkansas Tech women's golf team is set to take part in the 2026 Great American Conference Women's Golf Championship Tournament. The three-day event will be played at the par-71, 5,710-yard Stone Creek Course at the Page Belcher Golf Club in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
The No. 31-ranked Golden Suns are one of 11 teams in the field within the GAC competing. In the lineup for the Golden Suns will be
Ellen Spigner,
Jaylee Castro,
Averi Mickelson,
Jessie Norman and
Laura Weber Bernardo.
Maria Ruiz will serve as the team's alternate substitute.
The Golden Suns will begin the 54-hole event with tee times starting at 10:30 a.m. on Monday. Weber Bernardo will be the first to tee off with Norman going at 10:40 a.m., Mickelson at 10:50 a.m., Castro at 11 a.m. and Spigner at 11:10 a.m.
The Golden Suns will be grouped with No. 46-ranked Southwestern Oklahoma and No. 50-ranked Henderson State
Monday is set to feature 18 holes of play with the second round taking place on Tuesday and the final round on Wednesday.
