JOPLIN, Mo. – The Arkansas Tech women's cross country team competed at the 2024 NCAA Central Region Championship in Joplin, Missouri on Saturday morning and finished 15
th out of 31 teams with a team score of 440.
Four of the seven runners for the Golden Suns (
Audrey Hill,
Peyton Carson,
Avery Stanley and
Mackenzie Epperson) notched collegiate personal bests in the 6K at the championship. Additionally, four of the scoring runners (Carson, Hill, Stanley and
Libby Booth) placed within the top-100 of a field that featured 219 athletes.
