AUSTIN, Texas – Arkansas Tech cross country/track and field athletes
Calli Beshore and
Morganne Browning have made program history by being the first to earn Academic All-America® honors through the College Sports Communicators (CSC). Both received Second Team plaudits from the organization.

With the honor, Beshore and Browning, respectfully, become the 19
th and 20
th different Academic All-America® honorees at Arkansas Tech all-time and are the second and third honorees for the 2022-23 academic year.
A native of Nevada, Mo., Beshore is a senior in the classroom and carries a 4.00 cumulative GPA in Marketing Strategy. Similarly, Browning, a native of Fayetteville, is also a senior academically and boasts a 4.00 GPA in her major of Biology.
Multiple-time All-GAC cross country runners in their careers, both Beshore and Browning were recently named as GAC Elite Scholar-Athletes in cross country and track.
