RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – On Tuesday, the College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced their 2023 Academic All-District® team honorees for football. In that release, it was revealed that six Arkansas Tech football players,
Peyton Henderson,
Austin Hosier,
Dayton Keller,
Matthew Minnix,
Ben Stegall and
Will Stegall earned the distinction.

All six exceeded the program's new elevated standards of excellence in the classroom with at least a 3.50 cumulative GPA and required minimum amounts of play on the field of playing in at least 90 percent of their institution's games played OR started in at least 66 percent of the institution's total games.
Henderson, a redshirt sophomore offensive lineman from Springdale, Ark., is majoring in Social Studies Teacher License, History and Political Science at Tech is currently sporting a 3.56 GPA.
Hosier, a junior kicker from San Antonio, Texas, is majoring in Business Administration at Tech and is currently sporting a 3.64 GPA.
Keller, a junior tight end from Jackson, Mich., is majoring in Finance at Tech and currently possesses a 3.80 GPA.
Minnix, a redshirt junior linebacker from Tulsa, Okla., is majoring in Biology – Biomedical Option at Tech and currently possesses a 3.52 GPA.
B. Stegall, a sophomore defensive back from Germantown, Tenn., is majoring in Business Administration at Tech and currently possesses a 3.68 GPA.
W. Stegall, a sophomore defensive back from Germantown, Tenn., is majoring in Business Administration at Tech and currently possesses a 3.71 GPA.
