RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – Arkansas Tech freshman golfer Henry Frizzell has been named as the latest Great American Conference Men's Golfer of the Week as it was announced by the league office on Wednesday.
 
A native of Frisco, Texas, Frizzell earned the weekly conference honor for the first time in his career after he tied for 4th-place at the NSIC Classic Invite played at the Par-71, 6,873-yard Shoal Creek Golf Club in Kansas City, Mo. earlier this week.
 
During the two-round event, Frizzell endured windy and cold conditions and helped lead the No. 7-ranked Wonder Boys to a third-place team finish. Over the course of the two rounds, Frizzell shot a +5 (76) in the opening round and rallied for an even-par round two, finishing the tournament +4.
 
Frizzell tied for fourth with two other GAC golfers in his teammate Andre Jacobs and SAU's Kade Johnson.
 
Frizzell and the Wonder Boys will next compete in their final regular season tournament of the season at the Argonaut Invitational. The two-day event will take place at the Pensacola Country Club in Pensacola, Fla. and will begin on Monday, April 5 and conclude on Tuesday, April 6.
