KICKING OFF

A tough one-score defeat at home to Arkansas-Monticello last Saturday has the Arkansas Tech football team hitting the road this weekend in search of putting themselves in the win column for the first time in 2021.

This weekend's travels will take the Wonder Boys to Bethany, Okla. where they are set to take on Southern Nazarene, another GAC team looking for their first win of the season.

Unlike the Wonder Boys, the Crimson Storm have not played in many close games as only one was decided by seven points or less. That game was SNU's season-opener on the road at Arkansas-Monticello. In the three games since, the Crimson Storm have been out-scored 112-26.

The Wonder Boys will also be looking for some retribution against the Crimson Storm as Tech suffered its first loss in the all-time series to SNU the last time out against each other in 2019. Prior to that, the Wonder Boys had won the first six games with the closest margin of victory being a comfortable 14 points.
