RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. - Arkansas Tech baseball will travel to Arkadelphia on Sunday, for a three-game series against Henderson State. The Great American Conference series will begin with a doubleheader on Sunday at 2 p.m., followed by a single game at 1 p.m. on Monday.

ALL-TIME SERIES
Arkansas Tech is 88-66 all-time against the Reddies, in a series that began in 1914. Henderson State took two of three games in last season's series, but the Wonder Boys got revenge in a midweek, non-conference battle later in the season.
SCOUTING THE WONDER BOYS
Arkansas Tech (10-8, 5-4 GAC) enters the series ranked sixth in the GAC standings. In last weekend's conference games against Ouachita, the Wonder Boys took two of three contests, including an 11-0 decision to claim the series.
The Wonder Boys currently rank fifth in the GAC with a .288 team batting average. Riley Hickerson is batting a team-high .379 this season, and he has reached base safely in all 18 games this season. Hickerson also leads the team with 19 runs batted in, followed by Cody Wescott's 17 RBI.
On defense, Tech is tied with Henderson State for fourth in the GAC with a 4.92 earned-run average. The Wonder Boys' pitching staff ranks third in the conference in strikeouts and fifth in opponent batting average. Hayes Cox paces Tech and is second in the GAC with a 1.74 ERA in a team-high 31.0 innings this season. Cox holds a 3-2 record and has pitched three complete games. Michael Mueller holds a 4.15 earned-run average in 30.1 innings, and he leads Tech with 38 strikeouts.
SCOUTING THE REDDIES
Henderson State (12-6, 7-2 GAC) sits in third in the GAC standings and is currently riding a conference-high five-game win streak. The Reddies swept Harding in a three-game series last weekend, before defeating Union, 9-8, on a walk-off single in the bottom of the ninth on Tuesday.
The Reddies are hitting .255 as a team this season, 11th-best in the GAC. Jordan Harris is batting .350 in 16 games, and Brandon Pollock leads HSU with 13 runs batted in. HSU's defense has limited opponents to a .253 batting average, third-best in the GAC. The Reddies are led on the mound by Bryant Haralson, the conference leader with 39.0 innings. Daniel Sprinkle has started four games and leads the GAC with a 1.31 ERA.
