RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. - The Arkansas Tech Wonder Boys football team will close its 2018 season as Tech (3-7) travels to Searcy, Ark. for its season finale against Harding (8-2) this Saturday, November 10.
Saturday's contest will present a definite challenge for the Wonder Boys, as the Bisons boast the top scoring offense in the conference, as well as the top rushing offense. Harding is averaging 37.1 points per game while rushing for 347.1 yards per game. HU is also ranked first in the GAC is total defense and rush defense.
The Bisons are riding a four-game winning streak and have also won seven of their last eight games. Last week, Harding defeated Southeastern Oklahoma 24-10 in Searcy.
Bryan Allen, the GAC's leader in all-purpose yards/game (120.60), rushing yards (840) and rushing yards/game (84.0) will look to lead Tech to victory on Saturday.
Tech leads the all-time series 31-24, but Harding leads 15-11 in Searcy. Harding has won the last two games and six of the last seven. Harding has won four straight in Searcy. Last year HU defeated the Wonder Boys 24-17 in Russellville.
