WEEK NINE GAME NOTES - "OFFICE SPACE" EDITION
RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. - The Arkansas Tech Wonder Boys football team will hit the road for its penultimate road contest of the 2018 season, as the Wonder Boys (2-6, 2-6 Great American Conference) face Southeastern Oklahoma (5-3, 5-3) on Saturday, October 27 in Durant. A 2 p.m. kickoff is scheduled.Â
Saturday's contest will present a definite challenge for the Wonder Boys, as the Savage Storm bring one of the top-10Â scoring defenses in the nation to Paul Laird Field. The Savage Storm allow just 15.2 points per game, 244.4 yards per game, and 126.8 yards through the air.Â
Southeastern Oklahoma has won four of five games, dropping a 20-17 decision to Henderson State last week. Arkansas Tech will look to find the win column for the first time since a 24-10 win over Southern Nazarene on Sept. 22 in Russellville.Â
After Saturday's contest in Durant, the Wonder Boys return home for their home finale against East Central on Nov. 3 before concluding the regular season on Nov. 10 at Harding.Â
Saturday's game will be broadcast live on 102.3 FM (KCJC) in Russellville, with live audio, video, and statistical coverage available at www.arkansastechsports.com.
