KJ Reid added nine tackles, two pass breakups, and one quarterback hurry as the Wonder Boys football team (2-0) rolled to a 26-3 win over No. 23 Henderson State Reddies (1-1) on Saturday evening at Carpenter-Haygood Stadium.

- On holding HSU to three points – "Any time you play you try to stop them from scoring. But Henderson State is a good offensive team. I thought our kids made some plays tonight and played extremely well."
- On Ty Reasnor's game – "I thought he made some big plays when he needed to make them, using his feet to convert on third down."
- On Cua' Rose's game – "Cua' is a great player. He makes plays all the time. He never surprises me."
