QUOTABLES
- On his team's performance – "I think all this goes back to the way the guys worked when we came back in January, the way the guys worked. They worked in the offseason and summer getting to this point. The coaches prepared them extremely well to get ready to play, and I knew we'd get the best effort from them. I'm extremely proud of the way these guys played, fought back, overcame adversity and came back to win the football game."
- Looking forward – "We're 1-0, and the guys will have a chance to watch some film and get some rest, and we'll be ready to come back next week."
