ALL-TIME SERIES
Arkansas Tech leads the all-time series against UAM, 100-45, dating back to the first meeting in 1948 in which Tech defeated UAM, 11-1. The Boll Weevils have won three of the four meetings this season, however.

SCOUTING THE WONDER BOYS
Arkansas Tech (34-19) opened the GAC Tournament last weekend in Russellville, winning a best-of-three game series over Harding. The Wonder Boys dropped game one, 6-4, but rallied to defeat the Bisons in two consecutive games to move to the final four of the tournament.

In the three postseason games against Harding, the Wonder Boys hit .330 as a team. Kyle Gibbs led Tech with seven hits and four runs batted in. Korey Thompson added five hits and three runs batted in. Over the last six games, Zach Klockowski has hit six home runs and batted in 15 runs.

Tech's bullpen provided a much-needed lift for the Wonder Boys in the first round of the GAC Tournament last Friday and Saturday. In three games, five relievers combined for 12.2 innings and just two runs allowed. Cody Wescott made two appearances on the mound, pitching 5.2 innings and allowing just one unearned run. Isaac Hale helped the Wonder Boys secure a win-or-go-home victory in game two, pitching 5.2 scoreless innings in which he allowed just two hits. In Tech's 2-0 win over UAM earlier this season, Kyle Wilson earned a complete-game shutout, allowing just two hits.

SCOUTING THE BOLL WEEVILS
Arkansas-Monticello (29-19) won its first round, best-of-three series against Southeastern Oklahoma in two games last weekend. Game one featured five lead changes, with the fifth being a walk-off home run by UAM's Brian Ray in the 11th inning. The Weevils then defeated SOSU, 6-5, in game two to move on to the final four.

UAM has hit .282 as a team this season, led by Sean Wagner's .340 batting average. Wagner also leads the Weevils with three triples, 43 runs batted in and a .519 slugging percentage. Wagner and Brady Weiss led UAM's offense last weekend, each recording one home run and four RBI in two games.

Grant Black has pitched a team-high 92.1 innings in 14 starts for the Weevils this season, posting a 5-5 record and 4.29 earned-run average. Landon McFadden leads UAM's bullpen with 38.0 innings in 25 relief appearances this season, while Dawson Moser has a team-best 1.17 ERA and six saves.
