RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Arkansas Tech Wonder Boys baseball team (17-26, 9-18 Great American Conference) is heading to Alva, Okla. this weekend to play in a vital three-game GAC series against Northwestern Oklahoma (13-30, 10-17 GAC). The first game of the series is slated for Friday, April 22 at 6 p.m. followed by a doubleheader on Saturday starting at noon.
 
The Wonder Boys, who are currently 10^th in the GAC standings, are currently one spot back of the Rangers, who are ninth in the conference standings and hold the No. 8 seed due to Oklahoma Baptist being ineligible for the GAC tournament this year.
 
The series is the start of an important stretch for Arkansas Tech, as they travel to Harding (the current No. 7 team in the GAC tournament standings) the following weekend.
