RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Arkansas Tech Wonder Boys baseball team (10-15, 4-8 Great American Conference) are back at home to host East Central (5-17, 5-7 GAC) for a GAC weekend series. The opener of the three-game series is slated to start on Friday at 3 p.m. at Tech Field. The Saturday doubleheader in the series is scheduled for a 1 p.m. first pitch.
 
The Wonder Boys are looking to build a win streak as they are coming off a strong non-conference win. Tech defeated Henderson State 4-3 at home on Tuesday immediately following a three-game road trip to Oklahoma Baptist on Sunday and Monday.
 
The Wonder Boys rallied from a 3-2 deficit in the seventh inning to come away with the 4-3 win. Dylan McDearmon and Marcus Wilson each hit a home run in the game, Ethan Taylor picked up his first win of the season and Jesse Harbin came away with his sixth save of the year.
