RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. - The Arkansas Tech Wonder Boys baseball team (6-7, 2-1 Great American Conference) head to Arkadelphia for a three-game conference series with Henderson State (5-8, 2-1) this weekend. First pitch of Friday's single game is set for 6 p.m., while Saturday's doubleheader is set for 1 p.m.
The trip will be the second to Henderson State of the season for the Wonder Boys, who played three contests there just two weeks ago. The Wonder Boys dropped a pair to Northwest Missouri before coming away with a run-rule victory over Missouri Western in the final game of the trip. The championship rounds of the GAC Baseball Championship will be played at HSU as well.
Tech is coming off a series win over Ouachita Baptist last weekend at Tech Field. After dropping the Friday night contest 10-7, the Wonder Boys came back Saturday with 13-2 and 5-4 wins to clinch the series win. Meanwhile, the Reddies took two of three from Harding in the same fashion, falling 6-5 last Friday before coming back and winning 4-1 and 3-1 on Saturday.
