Box Score RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Wonder Boys cut into a six-run deficit, but Arkansas Tech (4-7) fell just short of a comeback as it dropped the series opener 10-7 to Ouachita Baptist (3-6) Friday night at Tech Field.

• Down 10-4 going to the bottom of the seventh, Tech cut into the OBU lead with a two-run double by Josh Watkins and a sacrifice fly by Mark Vaughn to make it a 10-7 deficit.
• The Wonder Boys turned a pair of double plays on the night, including one in the top of the ninth with the bases loaded and one out to prevent the Tigers from adding insurance runs.
• Freshman second baseman Dylan McDearmon led the Wonder Boys bats, going 2-for-3 a 2-RBI double, a single, and scored a run. Senior Josh Watkins also added a 2-RBI double and Marcus Wilson scored a pair of runs and reached base three times on three walks.
