Tech/SWOSU Game Notes

RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. - The Arkansas Tech Wonder Boys football team need one more win to clinch its second consecutive winning season, and will go for that win as the Wonder Boys square off against Southwestern Oklahoma this Saturday. 

Kickoff is set for 2 p.m. in Weatherford, Oklahoma. 

Tech (5-4) held on last week for a thrilling 41-35 homecoming victory over Northwestern Oklahoma. The Rangers rallied and tied the game in the fourth quarter before Kristian Thompson broke through the line with a 44-yard touchdown run that provided the winning points for Arkansas Tech. 

Meanwhile, Southwestern Oklahoma was tested at No. 5 Harding last week, dropping a 42-27 decision. After an 0-4 start to the season, the Bulldogs (4-5) reeled off four straight wins before Saturday's setback.
