WONDER BOYS LOOK TO CLOSE HOME SCHEDULE WITH WIN

w

RUSSELLVILLE, Ark.
- The Arkansas Tech Wonder Boys football team will host its final home game of the 2016 season this Saturday, Oct. 29, facing off against Northwestern Oklahoma in a 2 p.m. contest at Thone Stadium at Buerkle Field.

Prior to the contest, Arkansas Tech will honor its seniors playing their final home game this Saturday.

The Wonder Boys look to secure a winning record for the second consecutive year, and needs to win two of the final three games in order to do so. The Wonder Boys wrap up the 2016 season with games at Southwestern Oklahoma and Harding.

Saturday's matchup features two of the top offenses in the Great American Conference, as NWOSU ranks second in scoring and Tech ranks fourth. The matchup between the Tech defense and NWOSU offense will be pivotal, as the Wonder Boys have allowed the second-fewest points of any GAC team. However, NWOSU brings the most prolific offense that the Wonder Boys have seen this season to the field. The Rangers rank 11th in Division II in total offense and are led by senior Reid Miller, who averages 315.9 passing yards per game, and has set a school record with 31 touchdown passes.

The game will be carried live on 102.3-FM (KCJC) in Russellville, with live audio, video, and statistics available at www.arkansastechsports.com.
