ROGERS, Ark. – The Arkansas Tech men's golf team completed their third tournament of the spring season on Tuesday and came away with a 12
th-place finish at the Shadow Valley Invitational, hosted by Arkansas-Fort Smith out at the Shadow Valley Country Club in Rogers.

As a team, the Wonder Boys shot +56 and had rounds of 303, 297 and 320. Overall,
Jacob Peetoom led the team with a 9-over (225). He would finish in a tie for 22
nd but was in contention for an individual title after the first two rounds as he was 1-under through 36 holes.
Landon Lawson ended two strokes back of Peetoom as he tied for 35
th with an 11-over (227).
JP McCarron made his season debut at the Shadow Valley Invitational and competed as an individual. The lefty would shoot 14-over (230). He improved each round, shooting 78 in round one to 77 in round two and finished with a 75 in the final round.
The Wonder Boys will now have a week off from competition and will gear up for their next event, the Oaktree Invitational. That tournament is set to take place Monday, March 16 – Tuesday, March 17 at the Oaktree Country Club in Edmond, Okla.
