TIPPING OFF
The Arkansas Tech women's basketball team is back at home this weekend and will take on Southern Nazarene on Thursday evening and Oklahoma Baptist on Saturday afternoon. Saturday's game will also be the 50
th Anniversary celebration of Tucker Coliseum with special recognitions taking place at halftime.

This will be the 35th meeting all-time between Tech and Southern Nazarene and the second meeting this season. The Golden Suns won the first meeting, 65-5, on the road on January 10. The series began in 1985 but has been played in earnest as conference rivals since 2012. The Golden Suns currently hold a 20-14 record in the series.

Against Oklahoma Baptist, this will be the 24th meeting all-time between Tech and Oklahoma Baptist and the second this season. The Golden Suns won the first meeting, 92-84, on the road back on January 8. The series began in 1984 but has been played in earnest as conference rivals since 2015. The Golden Suns currently hold a 15-8 record in the series.

Tip-off for the SNU game is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, February 5 while the Oklahoma Baptist game will have a 1 p.m. tip-off on Saturday, February 7.

TECH(NICALLY) SPEAKING
The Golden Suns are 14-3 overall and 10-3 in the GAC. They are coming off a thrilling 86-85 overtime win at No. 24-ranked Northwestern Oklahoma this past Saturday and for the second-straight week, the Golden Suns are receiving votes in the latest WBCA Division II Top-25 poll, which was released on Tuesday.

Statistically, the Golden Suns average 82.1 ppg to rank first in the GAC and are allowing 71.1 ppg to rank 12th. In terms of field goal percentage and field goal percentage defense, the Golden Suns are shooting at an overall clip of .443 (487-of-1,100) to rank first in the GAC and are allowing their opponents to shoot at a .422 mark (421-of-997) to rank 11th.

From beyond the arch, the Golden Suns are shooting .320 (123-of-384) to rank fifth and are allowing their opponents to make three-pointers at a .347 clip (112-of-323) to rank 12th. At the charity stripe, the Golden Suns are shooting .767 (299-of-390) to rank seventh.

Logan Young leads the way at 17.4 ppg followed by

The Golden Suns are coached by
Dave Wilbers, who is in his 19th season as Tech. During his time at Tech,
Wilbers has amassed a 377-156 overall record. Nine times,
Wilbers has won 20 or more games at Tech and twice has won 30 or more. In terms of national rankings, a
Wilbers-led team has been nationally-ranked at any point in a season 11 times. Among those, he has guided the Golden Suns to the top of the rankings on a pair of occasions during the 2010-11 and 2011-12 seasons.

SCOUTING THE CRIMSON STORM
Southern Nazarene is 7-10 overall and are 7-6 in the GAC. They have won their last two games, both at home. Their most-recent game was a 68-41 win against Southern Arkansas this past Saturday.

Statistically, the Crimson Storm average 63.8 ppg and rank ninth in the GAC. On the defensive end of the court, the Crimson Storm rank seventh in the league in scoring defense, giving up an average of 65.9 ppg. In terms of field goal percentage and field goal percentage defense, the Crimson Storm are 11th in the conference as they shoot at an overall clip of .382 (378-of-990) and are allowing their opponents a .416 mark (393-of-945) to rank ninth.

Oklahoma Baptist enters this weekend 10-9 overall and 6-7 in the GAC. The Bison will have played a game on the road at No. 11 Harding on Thursday night prior to taking on Tech on Saturday afternoon. Heading into the weekend, the Bison have won three-straight games and are coming off a 65-60 win at home against Arkansas-Monticello this past Saturday.

Statistically, the Bison average 69.2 ppg and rank sixth in the GAC. On the defensive end of the court, the Bison rank eighth in the league in scoring defense, giving up an average of 67.1 ppg. In terms of field goal percentage and field goal percentage defense, the Bison are fifth in the conference as they shoot at an overall clip of .411 (468-of-1,140) and are allowing their opponents a .403 mark (458-of-1,136) to rank eighth.
