RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Arkansas Tech women's golf team is set to open the spring portion of its schedule over the next two days as they will participate in The Rattler Invitational, hosted by St. Mary's. The two-day event will be played at the par-72, 5,850-yard Dominion Country Club in San Antonio, Texas.
 
The Golden Suns will be one of 17 Division II teams competing in the event. In the lineup for the Golden Suns will be Ellen Spigner, Jaylee Castro, Averi Mickelson, Jessie Norman and Maria Ruiz.
 
The 54-hole event is scheduled to have a shotgun start of 8:15 a.m. on Monday. The Golden Suns will be grouped with Midwestern State and Texas A&M-International.
 
Monday is set to feature 36 holes of play with the second round occurring shortly after the completion of the opening round,
 
Tuesday's tee times will be determined after Monday's results.
